The ticket to Abu Dhabi: as the winner of the GITEX Europe 2025 "AI Special Award", NENNA.AI has secured its ticket to "AI Everything 2026", which kicks off tomorrow.

This week, our CEO and Co-founder Lars Moll attended KOSMOS Berlin, the Digital Health Conference hosted by the German digital association Bitkom. One of the key topics was the use of AI in MedTech & Pharma, which holds a special significance for us at NENNA.AI.

The rise of generative AI brings immense opportunities to the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, but also challenges. According to a study commissioned by the digital association Bitkom, 7 out of 10 Germans feel that digitalisation in healthcare is moving too slowly. Generative AI can help revolutionise diagnostics and research, improve workflows, and thus make or keep healthcare affordable.

"We cannot do without AI", says Karl Lauterbach, Federal Minister of Health, whose keynote opened the event. Health Minister Lauterbach emphasises the importance of data and AI models for the future of healthcare research, stating that this would not be possible without Artificial Intelligence.

Data protection, or "confidential computing", is the top priority. Datasets with pseudonymised patient information never leave a trusted environment. These datasets are "AI-ready", and the digitalisation of health records is one of the largest digitalisation projects in Germany.

But does this also ensure that employees do not work with AI models while data remains unprotected in shadow IT, for example, in doctors' patient files or during communication with patients? What happens when authorities collaborate with international players and data is processed on cloud infrastructures?

The topics of data protection and digitalisation are particularly sensitive in healthcare, and alongside digital innovations, this issue took centre stage during the panels and workshops.

NENNA.AI helps companies leverage this very potential of AI while simultaneously safeguarding sensitive data. With NENNA.AI, personal data can be masked easily and in compliance with GDPR when using generative AI. With our SHIELD, this can be managed directly in the browser without any complicated setup.
