Co-Founder and Head of Business Development, Florian Spengler, at UniNow's Digital Campus 2025 (DC25). This year, over 100 participants from all over Germany gathered. The two-day conference, organised by universities and focusing on digitalisation and innovation in higher education, provided fantastic insights. The event took place from 13 to 14 March 2025 in the Hyparschale in Magdeburg.

University digitalisation - that will never work. DC25 proves the opposite.
The event kicked off with a keynote speech by Dr Lydia Hüskens (Minister for Infrastructure and Digital Affairs) on digitalisation in Saxony-Anhalt. Her appeal to university representatives was very apt:
"Learn from colleagues facing the same challenges; as we know, that is the easiest way to learn."
NENNA Co-Founder Florian learned about existing practical examples of AI in student advising, such as thessaAI—a new test where users can create an individual interest profile by liking and disliking terms. Philip Dunkhase explained how corporate influencers can be used in university marketing. It is fascinating to see how AI is competing with real influencers in this area and which approach will ultimately prevail.
With Florian's presentation on the AI Act, NENNA.AI also made a contribution by contextualising the new EU regulation on the use of artificial intelligence from a higher education perspective: "EU AI Act & Universities". Thanks to Stefan Wegener for the invitation and the great organisation by the UniNow team, and to Olga Patlan for the charming moderation.
