The ticket to Abu Dhabi: as the winner of the GITEX Europe 2025 "AI Special Award", NENNA.AI has secured its ticket to "AI Everything 2026", which kicks off tomorrow.

Robot selfie, Rolls-Royce, cherry blossoms – and Cybercrime as a Service.

NENNA is visiting Hannover Messe, the world's largest industrial trade fair. This is where research, development, industrial automation, production technologies, and mobility technologies, among others, are showcased and driven forward. Naturally, our innovative AI Privacy Platform had to be there. After all, many still don't take data protection seriously enough when it comes to Artificial Intelligence.

Lars Moll auf der Hannover Innovationsmesse 2025

On Thursday, 3 April between 12:00 and 13:00, our CEO Lars Moll spoke at the Visitor Lounge – Transformation Stage during the AI Meetup and roundtable discussions hosted by the Bundesverband IT-Mittelstand e.V. (BITMi).

Topic: "AI in the Context of Cyber Resilience" - An often underestimated aspect of a 360° cybersecurity strategy: uncontrolled shadow AI usage within companies.

Lars demonstrated why this blind spot can become a major risk – and how companies can integrate AI into their processes in a secure, controlled, and responsible manner:

Attacks as a Service – Artificial Intelligence is making cyberattacks even faster and more scalable. Most attacks originate from organised crime syndicates or state actors, i.e., intelligence agencies. China, Russia, and the USA lead the list, according to a study by Bitkom.

Everyone is affected – from major corporations to local craft businesses. Or – as recently seen in Flensburg – car dealerships: 100 years of company history, hacked.

➡️ €266 billion in damages caused by cyberattacks on German companies in 2024

➡️ Forecast for 2026: €350 billion

This is a real threat – especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

What is being stolen? Customer data, product data, passwords, and intellectual property. This is exactly the kind of data many companies unknowingly feed into AI models when there is no clear governance in place.

Responsible AI usage is an absolute must-have in any 360° corporate cyber resilience strategy. Otherwise, companies end up unconsciously or negligently leaking the very assets they are trying so hard and spending so much to protect.

We particularly enjoyed the powerful keynote "Cybersecurity in the IT/OT Environment: The Tightrope Walk Between Innovation and Threat" by Ron Kneffel from the CISO Alliance e.V., as well as the Cybersecurity Breakfast with Kevin Engelhardt, Franz Harke, and Sascha Pade.

We had the chance to exchange ideas on the latest developments in AI with industry experts and companies, forging some highly valuable connections.
